We are excited to announce that Heewa has been appointed as the representative office of the Federation of International Robotsports Association (FIRA) in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. FIRA is the leading international organization dedicated to promoting Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in a responsible manner, with a focus on education, innovation, and entrepreneurship. FIRA is a comprehensive program that consolidates resources and highlights the latest advances in the field of AI and Robotics. The organization’s primary goal is to become a leading participant in the responsible use of Robotics and AI tools globally. To achieve this, FIRA emphasizes education, innovation, and entrepreneurship as the key to success. By working closely with governments, industries, and people, FIRA aims to promote Robotics and AI and their benefits to humankind.
As FIRA’s representative office in MENA, Heewa has been granted the authority to plan and coordinate FIRA-related activities in the region. The appointment recognizes Heewa’s capabilities and expertise in the field of Robotics and AI, as well as the organization’s commitment to promoting the responsible use of these technologies. As FIRA’s partner, Heewa is responsible for ensuring that FIRA’s mission and objectives are met in the region.
Our plan for the MENA region as FIRA’s representative is to promote Robotics and AI in a responsible and sustainable manner. We believe that Robotics and AI have the potential to transform societies and industries, but they must be developed and deployed with care to avoid negative consequences. To this end, we plan to focus on four main areas:
- Education: We believe in promoting the responsible development and deployment of Robotics and AI by working with educational institutions, governments, and industries to develop and promote educational programs. Our aim is to equip the future generation with the knowledge and skills to use Robotics and AI for the betterment of society.
- Innovation: We support research and development efforts that prioritize ethical considerations, social responsibility, and sustainability. We collaborate with startups, entrepreneurs, and innovators to foster innovation in Robotics and AI. We also hold events and competitions to promote innovation and showcase breakthroughs in the field.
- Entrepreneurship: We support startups and entrepreneurs by providing them with the necessary resources and guidance to develop and commercialize Robotics and AI solutions. We work with industries to promote the adoption of responsible Robotics and AI solutions. We also hold entrepreneurship events and competitions to promote the use of Robotics and AI in industries.
- Holding events and competitions: In addition to the above initiatives, we also plan to hold events and competitions that promote Robotics and AI in the MENA region.
This will include organizing FIRA-sanctioned robot competitions, which will provide a platform for robotics enthusiasts and professionals to showcase their skills and promote the development of robotics in the region. We will also organize conferences, seminars, and workshops on various topics related to Robotics and AI, providing opportunities for networking and knowledge sharing.
